Founder’s Message

A Message from Our Founder

In a world where Hindu voices are increasingly marginalized and our sacred traditions face unprecedented challenges, the establishment of Hindu Rights Watch represents more than an organization—it embodies a spiritual calling rooted in the timeless principle of "धर्मो रक्षति रक्षितः" (Dharma protects those who protect it).

When we witness Hindu temples vandalized, our communities targeted, and our civilizational values distorted in global narratives, we are reminded of Krishna’s words to Arjuna: “यदा यदा हि धर्मस्य ग्लानिर्भवति भारत”—whenever dharma declines, divine intervention manifests through those who choose to stand up and act.

Hindu Rights Watch was born from the recognition that our silence in the face of injustice is not humility—it is abdication of our duty. As young Hindus from diverse backgrounds—journalism, technology, business, academia—we came together with a shared conviction: that protecting Hindu rights and dignity is not just activism, but a sacred responsibility.

Our work spans from empowering women through the Durga Program to building leaders through the Arjuna Program, from preserving our scriptures through the Gita Program to fostering unity through the Rishi Valmiki Program. Each initiative is guided by the ancient wisdom that teaches us: “संगच्छध्वं संवदध्वं”—move together, speak together, let your minds be in harmony.

We invite you to join this movement—not as followers, but as co-creators of a future where Hindu identity is celebrated, protected, and empowered. Together, we shall ensure that the light of Sanatana Dharma continues to illuminate the world.

With deep gratitude and unwavering resolve,

Sumit  Kumar
